For bleacher inspection and repair companies
Bleacher inspections, due dates and repairs on one list
BleacherLog is bleacher inspection software for inspection and repair companies that keeps every school's bleacher banks, their annual due dates, the deficiencies you find and the repairs that follow in one place. It replaces the due-date spreadsheet and the email threads about repair approvals.
No card needed to try it. Plans from $29 a month.
Annual due dates per bleacher
Next year's date is set the day you inspect
Every telescopic bank, outdoor bleacher and grandstand carries its own next-due date. Log the inspection and the date moves a year out. The dashboard lists what's due this month and what's overdue across all your clients, so the June rush is planned in March, not discovered in August.
Why a spreadsheet isn't enough
What goes missing between inspections
- A school's annual inspection is missed until the athletic director calls in August.
- Last year's broken seat boards are written up again, because nobody turned them into a repair.
- The district asks for last year's report and certificate, and the office searches inboxes for an hour.
- Quotes sit unanswered in email threads, so repair work you already found never gets booked.
- Technicians copy handwritten notes into a report template every evening.
Deficiency list that ends in a repair
A split seat board found in June, fixed by July
Broken seat boards, missing end caps, binding wheels, loose guardrails: each one is its own line with a severity, so it can be priced, approved and closed instead of written up again next year. That's repair work you already found, booked instead of lost.
Found
Logged on site against the bank it's on: category, row or section, severity.
Row 7, section C: split seat board
Quoted
The office prices it. The quote waits on the school's decision, in plain sight.
Replace 12 ft seat board, $340
Approved
The facilities manager says yes (or defers it) and the date is kept.
Approved by the district, Jun 3
Repaired
The technician marks it fixed with the date and a note. Next year it isn't found again.
Replaced Jun 18, new end cap too
Client portal (Portal plan)
The facilities manager answers the quote themselves
School facilities managers log in to see their own bleachers, inspection records, certificate numbers and open deficiencies, and approve or defer a quoted repair with a comment. They can't change your quotes or repair records, and they never see your other clients.
Inspectors see only the venues assigned to them and log inspections from a phone on site. Office manager logins start on the Crew plan; the owner sees everything and handles billing.
Bleacher inspection report
When the district asks for last year's report
Open the venue and print its report: every bleacher's latest result, inspection date, inspector, certificate number and next due date, with the deficiencies found and where each repair stands. Or send the client's full inspection history as a spreadsheet.
ICC 300 in plain English
What inspectors and schools ask about bleacher inspection requirements
What are the bleacher inspection requirements?
Under ICC 300, the standard for bleachers, folding and telescopic seating and grandstands, the owner has to have the seating inspected at least once a year and keep the report. Many states and school districts add their own rules on top, and some ask to see the latest certificate on request. BleacherLog keeps the date, the result, the certificate number and the inspector for every bank, so the record is there when someone asks.
Does BleacherLog include a bleacher inspection checklist?
No, and that's on purpose. Most companies already use a manufacturer's form or their own bleacher inspection checklist. BleacherLog records what comes out of it: the result, the certificate number, your checklist notes, and each deficiency as its own line that can be quoted, approved and repaired.
How often do bleachers need to be inspected?
At least once a year under ICC 300, and many venues book theirs in the summer before the school year starts. Each inspection you log sets the bleacher's next due date a year out, and you can change it when a venue wants a different month.
Who is it made for?
Bleacher and grandstand inspection and repair companies with roughly 1 to 20 technicians: seating dealers, installers and independent service firms that inspect telescopic gym bleachers, fixed outdoor bleachers and grandstands for schools, colleges, parks departments and arenas.
Can the school see its own records?
On the Portal plan, yes. A client contact login shows that school's bleachers, latest inspection results and certificate numbers, next due dates and open deficiencies. They can approve or defer a quoted repair and leave a comment, but they can't change your quotes or repair records, and they never see your other clients.
Can we get our data out?
Any time. The owner and office manager can download each client's inspection history, or every list, as a CSV that opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
